Reunion News!
It’s a good thing military brats are
used to change!
Here are a couple of big ones:
The NAA Reunion site has been changed to
Reston, Virginia
The dates have changed to
August 5-8, 2010
We encountered some major problems with our original Chicago plans. SO... the NAA is going to join up with the Overseas Brats (OSB) at their 2010 Homecoming! The Board has determined that we will get a much bigger bang for our buck by working with Joe Condrill under the umbrella of the Overseas Brats.
The OSB Homecoming and the Narimasu Reunion will be headquartered at the fabulous Hyatt Regency Reston. The Reston Town Center is located about 18 miles west of Washington DC and close to Dulles Airport. You can find all the information you need about registering for the reunion at the OSB website: www.overseasbrats.com
For information about the area visit this web site http://www.restontowncenter.com/
You do NOT have to be a member of the Overseas Brats to participate in this event -- nor do you have to be a member of the NAA. All former NHS students are welcome.
There are two fees associated with the Overseas Brats Homecoming: Hotel registration and the Reunion Registration.
Hotel registration is the responsibility of each person who is attending the Homecoming. The Hyatt Regency Reston is offering a hotel room rate of $129 a night for single/double occupancy. Normal room rates for this hotel run in excess of $250 a night. To make your reservations call Hyatt's central reservation number, 1-888-421-1442.
To receive this special rate, you MUST identify yourself as attending the "OVERSEAS BRATS Homecoming 2010” when you make your reservations.
This special rate is good from Tuesday, August 3 through Sunday evening, August 8, 2010.
The Registration fee will cover the various activities planned by the Overseas Brats, and believe me, there are plenty of activities on tap. Included are an early-bird party on Wednesday, a casual Friday night dinner and dance, a late-night jam session, a karaoke event, a Saturday night dinner-dance, Sunday morning breakfast and much more. We will also be able to arrange for our own tables and the NAA will be hosting our own exclusive Narimasu hospitality suite. Hardy Hargreaves, a 1953 NHS graduate and a resident of Reston, has agreed to be our liaison with OSB for the reunion.
For details regarding registration, the various events, and the on-line and hard copy registration form, go to:

NAA members will also receive more details in the forthcoming spring issue of the Dragons Roar Again.
See you in Virginia!
There is updated information in the Reunion Section regarding the Class of 1965's Reunion in Hawaii and the Class of 1970's Reunion in Las Vegas - please take a look at them.
